This week and part of last week have all be non-writing days for me. I have a story in editing mode and one in the making and I haven’t gotten the time to write at all. Mostly it is because of more urgent matters in life and writing takes a backseat. Hopefully, soon, I’ll be able to write some of the story I’m working on. I have ideas in my head and I need to get them on paper!

A Little Bit of Non-Fiction
Sometimes Non-Fiction can open up the doors to publication. I do have to get to published in library journals and magazines for my job, but it’s easy to dive articles when you love to write and you know what you are writing about. I’ve been published twice already one in the SLIS Connecting Journal “Getting young Adults To Stop and Participate @ Your Library” and in the Mississippi Libraries magazine “Popularity of Young Adult Vampire Literature“.
Ocean’s Angel
This is the first short story that was accepted into a creative writing magazine and published on-line. It’s title is “Ocean’s Angel” and it is an adventure-romance story set in Zumba Beach, CA. It is about a Navy Seal and a lifeguard, the lifeguard saving the Seal’s life and danger pursuits.
The Beginning
Every story has a beginning and an end. My story has already begun but I will be recording my publications and the journey of being an aspiring author. Not all publications lead in happy endings, but one day soon maybe a story, a novel will actually take off.
